Who is your perfect client? Do you deeply understand them? What they want, how they live their lives, what motivates them?
No matter what you do for a living, if you can show your ideal client what the outcome will be when they work with you, then they will buy from you.
It doesn't matter what you do for a living. When you use emotion and feelings in your messaging it will connect with your customers.
You could be a graphic designer. If you think that you “only” sell brochures, websites, imagery. It’s not true.
➡️ Because the benefit for your clients is deeper than that. What you probably sell is confidence, or an abundant mindset.
➡️ Because when your client works with you they will be proud to share what they do more widely.
➡️ When people are proud of sharing what they do, and confident to approach their customers and talk about their offer, then they sell more!
But how do you connect to your client in a deeper way?
You relax, set some time aside, take a few deep breaths, clear your mind and start to see the world from their perspective.
Only then can you start to think about what problem they need solved.
What benefits you can offer them, rather than putting your offer forward.
For over twenty years working with some of the biggest clients in the world, I used this very technique that I’m going to share with you.
I use imagery to give me a complete picture of what they wish their life was like. I build up a board of pictures so that I can imagine how they feel in their day to day life so that I can start to understand them.
